Snowy Church for Merry Monday

It's a Merry Monday morning.

Wendy chose our challenge this week.

I didn't have a church stamp, but my friend Ruthann had bought one
when we went to a scrapbook show last Fall.

I borrowed it and went to work.

First couple of tries didn't make the cut.

But stamping with white and embossing did the trick!

Then I added some chunky embossing paste and heat set it from underneath.

Check out the fantastic inspiration pieces the Design Team has come up with.

Hope to see you in the gallery!

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Card Recipe
Stamps: Church/Trees (Rubber Cottage), Wonderland (SU)
Ink:  Whisper White, Night of Navy
Paper:  Solar White (110 lb. Neena), Night of Navy (SU)
Other:  White EP (SU), Chunky EP (Stampendous)

This is so beautiful, Bonnie! Your snowy background looks fabulous with your church. Yay for Ruthann coming to the rescue with a church stamp too!

Thanks so much for the opportunity to join the Merry Monday team for this week's challenge. It's a delight to take part!

What a beauty Bonnie - love the texture you have going there with the 'snow', and the drama of the white against the blue.

Bonnie, what a beautiful wintry scene, love the dramatic effect of the white embossing on the Navy Blue background, it looks amazing.
What a lucky break that your friend had this beautiful stamp, it's so sweet to let you borrow it to make this card.
Thank you for sharing.

This card is striking. The dark blue and white are a strong combo and so eye-catching. The white chunky paste looks like it added a lot and would be a good new (for me) thing to try. Plus I love that the theme was around a church...nice feeling.

I really don't need to see any snow now that my daffodils are blooming... but your monochromatic card is just lovely, Bonnie. That blue is so elegant and serene.

That's the kind of friend to have, Bonnie, because her stamp and your creativity made an elegant card. Chunky embossing powder, huh? I might have to get some of that.
