Botanical Notes

I really need to be cutting out cards for a demo tomorrow,
but I wanted to share this card with you.

I had a burning desire to play with some watercolor.

I was really happy with the way it turned out.

I used a no line watercolor technique and negative painting to make the flowers stand out.

Hope you like it.

Now off to do that cutting.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Botanical Notes (PB)
Ink:  Antique Linen (Distress), Distress Markers
Paper:  Mixed Media (Strathmore), Baked Brown Sugar (retired SU)
Other: Aqua Painter (SU)

Beautiful watercoloring Bonnie. I love the no line coloring but haven't tried that yet.

I DO like it, very much indeed. It's spectacular with the soft watercolors in the neutral palette, and liked the touch of the soft blue in the butterfly. Oh that I could watercolor even a tad close to this expertly! Just very beautiful card. TFS &Hugs

Wow! People would pay big bucks for such a stunning card. I'm just gonna throw away any watercolor things I have now since I can't even compete.
