Hello crafty friends.
I'm so glad you stopped by.
I've been playing with some emboss resist for a recent class.
This was made from a leftover piece.
We stamped this pretty lacy border with White Craft Ink and heat embossed it.
We placed wide sticky notes above and below to act as a mask,
and sponged some ink over the embossed image.
Adding a die cut and ribbon finished it off just fine.

The Memory Box Challenge is looking for ribbons this month.

By the way, here's the card we did in class.

Enjoy!

This is lovely. The lace effect is just awesome. I have just done a most CAS card which I have just sent off to Oz in a swap so can't show it yet. You will be do impressed.!! Lol. Hugs Mrs A.
Both are gorgeous! That emboss resist looks exactly like lace. So pretty. The butterfly looks great in the black on the first card and love the flowers on the second. Outstanding!

Wow, Bonnie, awesome cards, the second one looks like a good St. Patrick's card...all green and like shamrocks!!
Both cards are gorgeous. Love the green colour and the resist technique. The black is really striking, as are your tiny flowers on your second card x

That lovely lace makes a great backdrop for both the butterfly and the little flowers, Bonnie.
What a fresh looking, versatile card style with such a nice, feminine touch. I find it good to have these type of cards handy in my stash, and I am thinking this general idea will get CASE'd soon. As always, thank you, Bonnie, for your very special design skills.
Your talent for designing CAS cards is just amazing, Bonnie! I love the clean and classy look of this! That shamrock die is fabulous too! What a beautiful card and gorgeous border!
A really petty card and the green and black make a striking colour palette, many thanks for joining us at Penny Black and More challenge.

This is a beautiful emboss resist. I love that green and the black butterfly is stunning against it. The lace is lovely and the second card is a pretty spring card.
Love the lacy look of the emboss resist - it goes perfectly with the openwork butterfly!
Both are just so pretty. Love how you've done the cream embossing over this particular shade of green and used the piece as a border. The b&w gingham ribbon just sets the design off beautifully. TFS & Hugs
Love that embossed piece. Your sponging is so smooth and not streaky. Love it!
Gorgeous cards. Love the lacy design with the embossing and inking. A great technique.
Wow, love the choice of green for that embossed lace. Such a great choice and I adore the CAS design.
That black ribbon/butterfly/sentiment is a fabulous contrast, Beautiful!! xx
So delicate and pretty, the lace and the butterfly! The layout is fabulous and I enjoy the green which reminds me of spring (we are in the middle of a snow storm...)!
both are so pretty and just love the simplicity of the emboss resist :)
What an elegant design! Love how the green and black combine here. :)
This is such an elegant card Bonnie and the white lace over the green background with the black you have used for the butterfly, and the added gingham ribbon is really striking. x
Beautiful, Bonnie! I adore that lacey stamp, and your emboss resist and ribbon are just perfect!
