Full Bloom Nandina

Hello stampers.

I'm trying to keep up with my Christmas card stash by doing the Merry Monday Challenge.

Debbie is the host this week and she chose....
I just happened to have this stamp out for a class and had a Eureka moment!

Why not stamp it to look like the Nandina that we have here.
I love to use the red berries in Christmas decorating because
they are soft and drape beautifully.

I had the stamp in the Mini MISTI and inked it up a portion at a time
with SU Markers.  I added a few other leaves to fill in a bit.
Easy Peasy and it was done.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Full Bloom, Festive Snippets (PB)
Ink:   Soft Suede, SU Markers (Garden Green, Soft Suede, Real Red, Cherry Cobbler)
Paper:   Garden Green, Whisper White (SU), Mixed Media Frame from the UFO box (Strathmore)
Other:  Mini MISTI

The colors came out so vibrant using the Misti with those markers! I really need to try that because I love this technique. So beautiful and another card completed for Christmas too.

Small red fruits create a beautiful spatial composition. I love that they are beautifully scattered, they make a very light layout. And these festive colors are amazing.

beautiful..it has a great, crisp look which I really like.
Good for you that you are working on your holiday cards, I want the cold and snow to be gone and just can't seem to get into making any holiday cards at all.
