I'm so glad you stopped by!
Here's another card done with the carnations from the
Year of Flowers Collection.
I've watercolored on this one too, but first stamped and embossed.
I used water based markers and a waterbrush to color the flowers.
It got a little messy at the bottom but I found this
Peek-a-boo window in my UFOs and it was
perfect to frame the flower and hide the boo boo!
I'm joining in at
I was inspired by the soft pink, green and white and the flowers.
Don't you love those gorgeous cookies?
Since I used markers to color, I'll join in at
COLOR ME PRETTY - USE MARKERS OR PENCILS ON YOUR CARD
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Gorgeous card, Bonnie. Lovely design and I love the delicate colour of the flowers. xx
Beautiful water colouring and that peek a boo window complements those ever so pretty flowers perfectly x
do you ever find there are too many challenges and wonderful cards to make and not enough time to do it all...and I am retired! Aren't I supposed to be eating bon bons and playing all day long? LOL!! I want to try the technique of water color on colored cardstock that Loll shows and now you show me this one and I have that whole collection too..and I think I might even have that window die! Wonderful inspiration Bonnie!
the peek a boo window is the perfect frame for you carnations. The colours are perfect :)
What lovely soft watercoloring on your pretty blooms Bonnie - love the stitched frame cut out (one of my favs!) and the pretty pink border!
Very pretty take on the inspiration photo!
Soft and lovely card...pink carnations...what's not to love. I like the technique of stamping and embossing in white -- learned that from you and Loll and use it a lot. Sounds like your UFO box is loosing weight (!)
Arn't those cookies a work of art! How could anyone possibly eat one.
The first thing I thought of when I saw your card was how very delicate it looked and I love the color pink you used Bonnie.
Hope it is warming up in your neck of the woods - y'all have had a pretty cold winter!

As ever, your w/coloring is so fabulous. Love the pink/green combo, and wonderful shading on these pretty flowers. The stitched die window shows off these lovely flowers so nicely, and I like the spacing of the sentiment! TFS & Hugs (we have welcome sunshine today after a wkend of either overcast, menacing rain, or finally getting it all day Sunday.) TFS & Hugs
What a perfect tack on your inspiration, Bonnie! This is water colored so beautifully! You always do a fabulous job on these! I'm waiting for that wonderful window die to be back in stock too! How perfect it is for this and glad it covered that "oops". Love how soft and feminine this is!
