Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I noticed a bit of red in the maple tree a couple of days ago.
I love fall and all the warm colors that come with it.
The feeling went with me to the studio.
I love the colors at Color Throwdown but wasn't quite sure what to do with it.
The maple leaves gave me an idea.
I pulled out my leaf dies and found some colored and some plain leaves already
cut and ready to go. Some re-inkers and water took care of the plain ones.
(There was an aqua leaf already colored.)
I had this NBUS stamp and die waiting to be used and it seemed a perfect place
to plant some leaves.

Very pretty. Love the verse. Glad you were inspired by the maple leaves.
We noticed a bit of color on our drive to dinner yesterday, too, Bonnie. It's too early! But I do love Fall - and I love your beautiful card. [Yes, I am singing it] A favorite color combo, and for some reason, that burlap embossing has become my favorite for the season!

Ohhh I LOVE that you let the verse take center stage with your beautiful die and pretty leaves! You made these colors work beautifully -- this is fantastic!
What a great way to accent that wonderful verse, Bonnie, The bright leaves and burlap embossed panel look fabulous together. I remember singing this in choir in high school.
Those colours really do look stunning together. Love it xx
The background card is such a pretty blue and the lovely shape of the die suits this text perfectly. I sing and on quite a few occasions we have sung these words to a melody by John Rutter and it is one which is lovely to sing. If you would like to listen to it it is here on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcYzO8Y4PH0. x
I'm noticing a bit of color too, Bonnie and it's too early! So is this cool weather we've been having. Seems like June and August switched places this year in the heat department! I do like the pop of red on your card with the wonderful shade of blue. Very pretty!
We're getting tiny bits of color here too Bonnie and I'm loving it! Also loving your card...the colors are wonderful together, the verse is perfection, the background beautifully embossed, and the red leaves the crowning touch! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
