Snowman Hugs

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

We finally had a little snowstorm.  It lasted about 10 minutes.
It was so pretty!

Not enough for a snowman so I had to go with paper.

I found some blues in my background box.  I think they were mop ups, but I
hadn't written down what I did.

I cut an oval and embossed it then swiped some white ink over the raised snowflakes.

This little bundled snowman was a Christmas present.

The layout is Judy's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and the colors from Inkspirational.

Challenges:
Freshly Made Sketches #719 - Judy's sketch below
Inkspirational #359 - Visual Prompt-Shades of Blue

That looks like Snowy's cousin, Bonnie, and just as cute.

What a cute Baby Boy! Don't you wish all snowmen could be so cute. Did you have any snow over the weekend? We had a light frost last night. 9am and it's still in the 30s brrrr - pretty color blue and I guess you could tell - I love your snowman!

I bought myself this little snowman for Christmas, Bonnie! He is SO adorable wrapped up in blue - we have snow enough for everyone here!

We just got another half foot of snow overnight to add to the half foot we got during the day yesterday, so Michele's right...we have plenty of snow to spare and I'd happily send some your way if I could! In the meantime though, your little bundled up snowman is just ADORABLE Bonnie! Cute, CUTE card my friend!! Hugs. :0)

Love your adorable snowman and the blues. Such a sweet card. No snow here, but it was 28 earlier this morning. Can you believe that in south central Florida. They even had snow up in the panhandle of Florida. Have a great week.

This handsome fella fits perfectly into all 3 challenges! Something blue - check; something new - check; something borrowed? I guess that would be the challenges that helped bring this card to fruition. Great make, Bonnie, now maybe I'll get my newbie out too!

If I read your post before commenting, I would have known you had snow. Looking at your card one more time, the snowman's scarf looks real - I mean like real fluffy material! So soft and most of all warm!

What a wonderful take on the sketch, Bonnie! Your capsule shape holds the snowbuddy perfectly and I love the ink swiped snowflakes! It's always a treat to see your cards, especially in the FMS gallery!

Your snowman is beautiful. As you can see, 10 minutes of snowfall is enough to create such a beautiful card. This die is so charming.

We've had a real winter in Poland for the past few weeks, with frost and snow. I'm not sure I'm happy about that... I prefer daisies on the lawn to snow in January.
hugs,
BozenA

This is a sweet snowman Bonnie, and the background embossed falling snow, and the lovely sentiment in blue coordinates perfectly with the blue oval background which looks so pretty with the embossed snowflakes inked in white...a beautiful card. x

He looks quite cozy all bundled up! This is a darling card, Bonnie. Snowy and cold here... brrr!!!

A snowman on a card is much better than a real one. We only have a dusting of snow but it is 8 degrees with a wind chill of -5. The scarf and hat look to be keeping him so warm and cozy so he can give warm hugs even in the snow.
