Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I was honored to win the September challenge at CAS Mix Up and delighted
to be asked to be a Guest Designer!
This month's CAS Mix Up challenge is...
I used the same stencil that Loll used for this video Stenciling with Brushos by Loll Thompson (2:29).
I've tried this technique several times and I've come to the conclusion that the stencil
really matters. This Aspen Trees stencil works like a charm though.
I used Black Brusho crystals and sprinkled lightly over the stencil, spritzed generously
then lifted the stencil. I love all the different colors that in these black Brushos!
I wanted a more muted look and added vellum over the stenciled design. Some watercolored,
die cut leaves finished this fall blessing card.
Do check out this challenge and now lets go see what the fantastic Design Team
has done to inspire us.
I'm also linking in with Darnell's I.D.E.A.S. Challenge where it's Ink/Color Mediums Week.
I used powdered inks and watercolors.
and with the Four Season's Challenge for FALL
