Red and Green for Color Hues

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

It's time for another challenge at Color Hues.

This month I picked our colors.  I chose....

I don't know about you, but I'm trying to get my Christmas cards made and
these are my favorite Christmas colors.

I used an old favorite embossing folder and die set to cut and emboss these
berries and colored with Ohuhu alcohol markers.

Now let's go and see what my talented friends and our
fantastic Guest Designer Vikki H. have done to inspire you.

Your card and or project can use ANY HUE of the TWO Colors selected for you,
and of course, neutrals are welcome.
Our Neutrals are: white, black, grey, kraft, brown, cream, and metallics.
Remember that green is not a neutral.

I hope you'll create a card using RED & Green and add it to the gallery at

Challenge ends at 9:00 AM on November 14th.

The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge and the overall
winner will have the opportunity to be a future Guest Designer.

Most importantly, just have fun!

And while it was out, I did another too.

I wish you could see the dimension of the berries.

I can see the dimension in the berries in the photo which means it has to been even better in person, Bonnie. What gorgeous cards. I bought those folder/die combos and haven't used them since the initial outing. You've inspired me to get them out again and I will try using my alcohol markers to color them and hope I do as well as you did, my friend.

I love the shades of green you used the most, Bonnie! and both cards are just beautiful! Loving the bits of white on your leaves and berries - it really brings them to life!
