Two Fer Christmas

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Challenges are getting ready to close so I'm hurrying to get these in.

First up for Jingle Belles...

I used a retired embossing folder for most of the pine branches and
gently rubbed some ink over the raised design with a sponge dauber and
Distress Oxide ink.  The branches on top were die cut and sponged also.  Then I
added a little glue and some glitter to make the branches sparkle.

The stocking has been die cut and embossed for texture. I found these little
pom-poms in my stash.  They sparkle!

As you can see the glitter has stuck all over the card front.
I'll have a sparkly Christmas box!

My twofer....

My sweet friend Christine is hosting at CAS Christmas and is
asking for a Winter scene.

I hemmed and hawed about what to do for this challenge and ended up with...

A die cut scene and added little die cut house.  I wanted to hang a wreath
on the door, but couldn't fine anything small enough.

Another very schparkly card!

The Stockings Were Hung by the Chimney

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

These fun stockings are from a NBUS stamp and die set from Hot Off the Press.

I inked them up with Distress inks and markers and actually fussy cut them.
It was quicker to cut than to fiddle with the die to get it lined up well.

The mantel garland was stamped with the new Rustic Wilderness Distress ink.
I love this color!

Challenges:
Christmas Kickstart #43 - Twas the Night Before Christmas
NBUS #21- Never Before Used Schtuff

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Christmas Flower for CAS Watercolour

Hello friends,  I'm glad you stopped by!

It's time for CAS Watercolour

A while back my friend, Peggy lent me her Botanical Frames stamp set.

I stamped it and colored it with Zigs and a water brush.

I loved the results!

This month's CAS Watercolour challenge is hosted by Susan.

I love adding florals or greenery to Christmas cards!

I've stamped this image with Versafine Onyx Black ink,
colored a bit of each petal and leaf with my Zig Real Brush Watercolor Markers
and touched with a damp waterbrush to make the color flow.

Coloring petals that are not next to each other really helps to keep
everything from running together.

I finished it off with a few white splatters.

Now it's your turn.

I hope you'll join us at CAS Watercolour.

I see that the Jingle Belles challenge is
Mele Kalikimaka
or Anything Flowers.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!
