Good Works

This week's Less is More challenge is to make a One Layer Card and stamp the image "off the edge".  A One layer card is defined as One piece of card folded in half with no additional layers and minimal embellishments, where the image is stamped directly onto the cardstock.  Additionally, we were not to have any scored lines.

This called for a larger image and was a good reason to pull out my Inspired by Nature stamp.  I inked it with markers, stamped and touched up and shaded just a bit with the same markers.

A quick and easy card!

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Inspired by Nature
Ink:  Stampin' Up! Markers (Melon Mambo, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip)
Paper:  Whisper White
Accessories:  Corner Rounder Punch

Thanks for the visit.  Enjoy!
Bonnie

I love a good one-layer card--this one is FANTASTIC, Bonnie! They sound so easy, but really take a lot of thought, don't they? Outstanding!

Bonnie, this is beautiful! I did that challenge last week after seeing your card and loved it. I'm looking for some stamps to arrive in the mail and hope they will be good for the 'off the edge' challenge this week. I am really getting into CAS. Of course, I can't give up all that patterned paper and bling either. So, I'll be busy with all kinds. LOL

May i ask is this an Echinacea image? It is really beautiful and has stamped so well... Also like how you have rounded the bottom corners, it just adds that special something.

You say quick and easy Bonnie, but some would find the perfect positioning and additional colouring quite a challenge!
This is simply beautiful, as always!
Thanks so much for another great submission!
