Green and pink, never seen ink is the theme for the One Layer Wednesday challenge hosted by Jennifer Styles this week. We are to use green & pink on our cards and a stamp or stamps that have never been inked.
I have been wanting this Every Moment set since I saw it in the catalog last June. I finally got it last week and it seemed perfect for this challenge. Jennifer said we could use other colors too. So I added a bit of Saffron overcolored with Daffodil Delight for the flower centers and the butterfly. The petals are Pretty in Pink with a bit of Regal Rose over that.
I pulled out that little fern stamp from a retired set, Watercolor Minis, to add some foliage below the flowers. There's a set in the Occasions Mini called Baby Blossoms that has a similar stamp. If you want it, you better hurry though. That catalog is only active until April 30.
Card Recipe
Stamps: Every Moment, Watercolor Minis
Ink: Black StazOn, SU Markers (Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Daffodil Delight)
Paper: Whisper White
Accessories: Corner Rounder
Thanks so much for the visit. And I really enjoy the comments.
Enjoy!
Bonnie
