It's Merry Monday time again.
Here's Lesley's fantastic sketch.
Here's Lesley's fantastic sketch.
I flipped it over to put the ornament at the top left.
I was so excited to get this Ornament Keepsake bundle. The stamp set and Framelit dies can be bought separately or bundled for a great savings. There is such a beautiful selection of ornaments in this set and they all have a companion framelit die so they can be cut out quickly and easily.
And here with all this easy, I miscut one ornament and it's trimmed closer than it should be. I had turned the paper over and stamped on the back when I wasn't satisfied with the stamping on the front. I smacked all the stamped ornaments with VersaMark and clear embossed them for a shinier look. When I cut them out, I wasn't paying close attention evidently and cut that one out on the unembossed side. Oh well, it's not perfect, but you can tell it's handmade!
I stamped the round ornament with Encore Gold and embossed with gold. Then I punched the center out with my 3/4" circle punch and adhered it to the center of the ornament. I used the Gold ink on the hangers too.
Some gold cord hangs the ornaments from the sentiment.
I hope you'll join us for the Merry Monday challenge this week. Be sure to check out the rest of the design team's cards as well as our featured designer. (I've had a sneak peek and they are fantastic as always.)
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.

Beautiful card, the ornaments are so elegant and I love the background texture.

Great job, Bonnie! I always love your CAS ornament cards with the embossing behind, no matter the layout. They always look somehow both whimsical and elegant at the same time.
I didn't see a boo-boo, then when you mentioned it, I went looking for it and I still can't see it. Did I miss the part where you fixed it, are you being too hard on yourself, or should I not be crafting with these eyeballs of mine??
Love both your pretty cards, Bonnie! Your ornaments look awesome with that embossing folder and the second one is very pretty embossed in gold! Love the scallops too! Nice job on both!! :)
I really like how the ornaments pop against the textured background. Fabulous card!
This is such a great card for the challenge. I love how you used that embossing folder ... it's one of my favourites!
Cheers, Karen

Another lovely Christmas card for your stash Bonnie - love how've you flipped it and hung your baubles from the sentiment - didn't think of doing that myself!

The texture and the ornaments look divine! LOVE this and the colours. Such a great job with the sketch Bonnie.
Love this trio of ornaments! Each one is beautiful. And sorry, but I still don't see your error, even after going back to look at the photo again. ;)
This is such a great take on the challenge but I love how you added the hanging ornaments to the layout. Your card is amazing w/regards to the sketch and very, very pretty too! I love it! Warmly, Donna
