There are so many challenge blogs out there and I've kind of developed an addiction to challenges. Even though I can't play in many off them, I still have to peek and hope to find time to play with some of my favorites. Most of the time I do play along with them....in my head, but don't always get it to paper.
I found a new challenge a few weeks ago. It's called Fab Friday. I don't think I'd ever actually entered a card in this challenge, unless they can read my mind (and I really hope nobody can). But I think I've got one for this challenge. It helps that it's an every other week challenge. Here's the sweet sketch.

I used the Spring Garden Bundle from the new Spring Catalog. It has stamps and dies that all work together. I used just one of the flowers from this set.
I couldn't find a color challenge that struck my fancy so I used some of my favorite colors, Rich Razzleberry and Marina Mist.
I stamped a second Razzleberry flower on scrap and die cut it. I die cut another scrap of white to put behind it to give it more body and mounted it with Stampin' Dimensionals. The leaves were cut and sponged a bit for definition. A trick I learned from my talented friend Loll! She does such beautiful work!
The faux "flowersoft" is made by rubbing 2 Styrofoam balls together and collecting the rubbings in a sandwich bag. A couple drops of re-inker makes it any color you want. I add it to the center of the flowers with Crystal Effects.
All Supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted
Card Recipe
Stamps: Secret Garden, Curly Cute
Ink: Marina Mist, Rich Razzleberry, Certainly Celery
Paper: Marina Mist, Whisper White
Other: Secret Garden Framelits, Little Leaves Sizzlits, Faux "Flowersoft" (homemade), Crystal Effects, Stampin' Dimensionals
I'm so glad you stopped by. And thanks so much for your kind comments. I read and treasure every one.
Enjoy!

Hi Bonnie ... what a beautiful card!! Love that flower stamp and the way you've die-cut just the one and popped it up. Fabulous way to add the dimension to the center of the flowers ... will have to use your trick!! I've been making fluffy bits to use for mine using my distressing tool on cardstock ... works ok, but your "fluffy bits" have so much for dimension and I love that you add re-inker to die them any color you want ... ingenious! Loll xx
Oh I will have to check out this challenge too. I am having so much fun doing challenges. I just started :) Your card is just stunning! Love your take on the sketch!
Great card, Bonnie! I love your layered flowers. I will have to try and remember this fabulous color combination.
VERY PRETTY!

Bonnie, this is a real beauty. And, great idea with the faux flowersoft. Great that you can make it the color you need.
Great take on the sketch and the flowers are fabulous. Love the added centers :)
Gorgeous@ Thanks for the great idea for the faux Flower Soft!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who plays challenges in their head! ;-) I love this card--the colors are beautiful. And I so love how you popped up that flower. Very cool!
Lovely card, and the colors are so beautiful together. I like your take on the challenges. I'd like to enter, but then get stumped as to what to do...may not have the 'right stamps', can't think of how to utilize something I do have. I'll have to print out sketches before I start. Thanks for the styrofoam tip. Hugs
this is such a pretty new set and I love the card you created with it-thanks for the faux flower soft tip
This is beautiful!! I can't decide whether to get that set because I have others that look just like it - but I DO LOVE dies!! And I love what you have done with them! Thanks for the flowersoft tip - I got some awhile back but never used it because it didn't match.
So pretty! The colors remind me of summer! Love the double layer flower and your tip for the styrofoam flower soft! Thanks for sharing with us at Fab Friday!
What a lovely card! And an idea that is adaptable to other stamp sets like Fabulous Florets and Vintage Vogeu (except I'd have to fussy cut one of the flowers). I've made my own flower soft in white to use as snow, but never thought to try colouring it - great to hear it can be done!
This is a really lovely spring like card, love it
Such a lovely card Bonnie. I, too, love sketches and create plenty of them in my head. You pulled this one off beautifully. Great colors too.
Wow, awesome card Bonnie, I just love it!
Fabulous take on a really great sketch! Thanks for introducing me to a new challenge.
Absolutely beautiful, Bonnie! Love it! :)
This is a perfect take on the challenge sketch, Bonnia, and a lovely, lovely card! I think I played with them once, so thanks for the reminder to go back and check them out from time to time. Ah, time, not enough of it!
