Butterfly Buttoned and Bowed

Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge this go round is the 3 B's

Butterflies, Buttons and Bows

I had some bits and pieces laying around that hadn't made it onto cards.

I put them together and here's what I found.

My button is faux.  I hope that's OK.  It keeps it flat for mailing.

But there's still some dimension that I think will regular postage rate.

The card is Sahara Sand not gray but I can't get it to look tan in the photos.

Everything is a snippet so off I go to
Even the card blank is a cast off.  I hope the design doesn't fall off.
There's a stamping mistake underneath it.

says COLOR ME PRETTY
use markers/pencils/etc. on your card.
I used markers to color the butterfly.

says 3-2-1
Use 3 of something (3 colors of cardstock), 2 of something (2 stamps), and
1 of something (1 button)

asks for Cute/Shabby with a button

Thanks for the visit.

Enjoy!

Simply super elegant and so well designed! Love it! I read that on Mrs A's post that faux buttons were ok. I'm hoping I can get something done & submitted, but still working on green stuff! That is _some_ coloring on that beautiful butterfly too! He looks _So_ real! Way to go! TFS & Hugs

I was hoping when I requested a button that some of you would use a faux button and you have!! Brilliant. I love that vibrant butterfly, such a gorgeous colour. Thank you for fluttering by #2. Hugs Mrs A. (Butterfly challenge).

This card is another beauty! The bow even mimics the shape of the butterfly. French Script is one of those stamps I will never part with--it's the perfect background in so many ways. I've done faux buttons on some of my cards for the same reason. A little glossy accents or clear embossing makes it look more real without adding postage. And the butterfly--you colored it brilliantly (no pun intended :)

So pretty. Love the pop of the bright orange. And I always think that script is THE perfect backdrop for a butterfly ... so elegant. The twine and button give the card a little bit of whimsy. :) Loll xx

This is lovely Bonnie! It has a fabulous look to it.
I think the faux buttons are going to be very popular again due to rising postage rates!
