Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge this go round is the 3 B's
Butterflies, Buttons and Bows
I had some bits and pieces laying around that hadn't made it onto cards.
I put them together and here's what I found.
My button is faux. I hope that's OK. It keeps it flat for mailing.
But there's still some dimension that I think will regular postage rate.
The card is Sahara Sand not gray but I can't get it to look tan in the photos.
Everything is a snippet so off I go to
Even the card blank is a cast off. I hope the design doesn't fall off.
There's a stamping mistake underneath it.
says COLOR ME PRETTY
use markers/pencils/etc. on your card.
I used markers to color the butterfly.
says 3-2-1
Use 3 of something (3 colors of cardstock), 2 of something (2 stamps), and
1 of something (1 button)
ETA House of Cards
asks for Cute/Shabby with a button
Thanks for the visit.
Enjoy!

Pure perfection and so lovely.

Gorgeous card Bonnie. Glad I'm not the only one that uses the other side of stamping mistakes!
LOVE this card Bonnie. Beautiful butterfly. Love the flat faux button too. Good idea for the postage.
Hugs, Sarn xxx
Gorgeous, Bonnie! The subtle background is perfect for that beautiful butterfly!
I LOVE the faux button! I like your thinking--it's good to be able to mail your creations! :) This is absolutely beautiful! Thanks for joining us at House of Cards! :) HUGS and happy weekend! Mynn xx
Gorgeous card Bonnie, your beautiful butterfly really pops off the page, Cathy x
The butterfly is beautiful. I love that the card just "fell" into your hands.
Simply super elegant and so well designed! Love it! I read that on Mrs A's post that faux buttons were ok. I'm hoping I can get something done & submitted, but still working on green stuff! That is _some_ coloring on that beautiful butterfly too! He looks _So_ real! Way to go! TFS & Hugs
I was hoping when I requested a button that some of you would use a faux button and you have!! Brilliant. I love that vibrant butterfly, such a gorgeous colour. Thank you for fluttering by #2. Hugs Mrs A. (Butterfly challenge).
Very pretty card! Love the butterfly! So glad you joined us at House of Cards!
You just took bits & piece & came out with this?! Gorgeous card, Bonnie!
Lovely sophisticated card Bonnie
This card is another beauty! The bow even mimics the shape of the butterfly. French Script is one of those stamps I will never part with--it's the perfect background in so many ways. I've done faux buttons on some of my cards for the same reason. A little glossy accents or clear embossing makes it look more real without adding postage. And the butterfly--you colored it brilliantly (no pun intended :)
Just perfect Bonnie, that butterfly is fabulous!
Hugs, Di xx
Gorgeous butterfly, the white pops the colour so well :) Have a wonderful weekend, Shirleyx
What an effective card, love the ideas you have here.
Oh Bonnie, this card is so elegant and beautiful! I am loving that butterfly-looks so real with your coloring too. Your faux button looks real in the pic, but they are perfect for mailing. Love that Sahara Sand paper color, I think I might have to get me some of it. lol Fabulous card Bonnie. Hugs
One beautiful butterfly for one beautiful card!

The butterfly is very eye catching. Just beautiful!
So pretty. Love the pop of the bright orange. And I always think that script is THE perfect backdrop for a butterfly ... so elegant. The twine and button give the card a little bit of whimsy. :) Loll xx
This is lovely Bonnie! It has a fabulous look to it.
I think the faux buttons are going to be very popular again due to rising postage rates!
I really like this card, the simple background makes that beautiful butterfly stand out.
This is SO striking, Bonnie! I can't tear my eyes away. That button might be faux, but that butterfly looks totally real!! You have once again just rocked these challenges!! Hugs, Darnell
Stunning card!
Love your bright colored butterfly against the soft neutral background. Don't you love it when you can use up bits and pieces on your craft desk? Thanks for joining us at the House of Cards Challenge Blog.
Very nice! That butterfly almost looks real, like it could flit off at any moment.
Oh so pretty. :) Hey, maybe you know this already (probably you do) but I hear there's a new-ish butterfly challenge somewhere on the 'net. This would be perfect over there!
