I am really enjoying my play with watercoloring.
Actually, I use re-inkers not watercolors.
Does that still count?
Here's my latest attempt.
After I had the panel colored, I wasn't sure what to do with it.
I checked in on the sketch challenge at SCS this week and thought it would work.
Here's the sketch....
I took some liberties with the sketch but I think it's still visible.
One thing I've learned about watercoloring.
I have to be patient and let one color dry before applying another.
I hope you like this as much as I do.
Off to share at Pixie's Snippet Playground
since I used a snippet of watercolor paper and matting.
Thanks for stopping by.
Enjoy!

I have been thinking about watercoloring for days now!! Just have to find some time as I know it takes a while ... as you said, I need to find time and patience :) Gorgeous card ... love the embossed border and the little tab of ribbon. Loll xx
Hi bonnie, just been looking at all your wonderful cards I've missed..blogger has been a right pain and then I went to a craft show over here and met some of my blogging buddies we had a great time..your cards are so pretty! lots of huggles Sue xx
That's a beautiful background to show off the pretty flower! Beautiful card!
Absolutely beautiful, Bonnie. Watercoloring agrees with you, that's for sure.
Of course re-inkers count they're colour aren't they? And you use water so water-coloured! Really pretty panel you've made too. Sorry I've been a bit lax in commenting lately - seem to be a bit short on time as doing a lot of work in garden when weather permits.
When it's something this pretty, of course it counts! Gorgeous!

Hi Bonnie, this is beautiful! Great use of colours
Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog re: stencilling. Some of my ladies are a bit heavy handed too, we used ink duster brushes & once they'd done a couple they learned to lighten up!!

Oh Bonnie, I love this card! It looks like it should be framed and hung in a gallery. I can see the sketch in your card. I can't believe you did that using re-inkers! I love the background and the flower, oh my the flower is stunning. I also love that embossing on the side. Hugs

Beautiful watercolor flower. I see the sketch and love the way you used it softly..........I probably would have done everything in squares.....love what you did
I am quite sure that reinkers count. In fact, I'm impressed by how many folks use reinkers to color with. Gorgeous card. I love the marbled background. That's spectacular.
Beautiful watercoloring Bonnie, love the pretty background too, Cathy x
