This is very similar to a card I did for my DH's birthday.
This time I did it in watercolor.
I stamped the goose in black on the piece of watercolor paper
and on a scrap piece. Then I cut the goose out of the scrap.
I used an Aqua Painter and ink squished into the lid of the inkpads
to do the coloring.
I found this little grass stamp marked down at one of the craft stores.
I inked it, spritzed with water and stamped.
When everything was dry, I added the cut out goose atop the watercolor.
with my snippets of watercolor paper
A PIECE OF PARADISE
The Lake in VT where my Dad lived for many years was a Paradise for us.
It was such a beautiful place to get away from the summer heat in NC.
Thanks so much for the visit.
Enjoy!

This makes me want to do some water coloring...this is awesome!I love it!
I just did a water colouring class doing clouds and it didn't look anywhere near as good as your picture here. Perhaps I should change to doing
ducks and geese! Love your composition and the finished card. Hugs Mrs A.
That is such a pretty card Bonnie and your watercolouring is great!
Really, really pretty Bonnie! ♥

Really beautiful Bonnie. LOVE your serene lake scene. Awesome watercolouring. xx
Absolutely gorgeous scene you've created, Bonnie!
Your watercoloring on this image is just marvelous. You've got the water reflection just right, and the addition of the grass at the bottom edge draws the eye right into the card. Really like the mottle look of the water with the sandbank between the water & sky. Really well done, Miss B. TFS & Hugs
What a peaceful card, Bonnie--and a great bargain, too!
This is beautiful Bonnie. Looking forward to seeing Spring with ducks on the canals near here.
