Brushos for Happy Little Stampers CAS

Several months ago I bought some Brusho watercolor crystals.

I was seeing some awesome cards using these crystals.

I love the explosion of color.

However....

many of my backgrounds end up looking like mud!

An explosion of mud is not attractive!

I kept trying and...

I finally  got a good one.

I used a die that was won at
and I used it to cut the flower from snippets.

I thought the openwork flower was perfect with the colors peeking through.

Since I had to spray those crystals to release the colors,
I'm entering this in the

Since this blue looks like Royal Blue to me,
I'm taking this over to
ROYAL

I'm so glad you stopped by!

Enjoy!

Really beautiful brushos background Bonnie (wow that's a lot of "b"s) :) Bright and fun colours, the open work die-cut is perfect to let them show through. Thanks for playing along at Happy Little Stampers. xx

This is a delight Bonnie. I think you have rocked this now and that little candy dot is perfect and it is the exact same colour as one of the colours in the background, just perfect x

Bonnie, that card looks wonderful. Your background caught my eye, love tiny yellow additions and a yellow candy dot. The complete layout is just perfect.

Love your background Bonnie.

This is so pretty, and you were smart to choose an open die to show off your colors. Don't talk to me about muddy backgrounds. I've SO been there this week.

I'm still sort of at the muddy Brushos stage Bonnie! Think I get carried away :) This is just perfect and the skeleton flower die cut sets it off perfectly!

Just as soon as there is some nice weather for long enough I'm taking my brusho's out to the table at the bottom of the garden for a good spray and play. I love your fretwork flower against your background. Hugs Mrs A.

OH my gosh this is simply stunning!!!! I guess I will have to try and try again if there is hope I can end up with something like this. Very smart to add an outline die and let that gorgeous background show.

An explosion of mud. That would be my big fear of using Brushos. I think you've gotten the hang of it though, Bonnie. Your card looks great, especially with the open work flowers.

I'm the same as you Bonnie! I bought my Brushos months ago, first, I was scared to try them, then when I did, my results weren't pleasing! I just managed to get one that I was a little more happy with just before I went away that I managed to post - I expect they will just sit around for a few more months now - until I pluck up the courage to try again! Have a lovely evening! Hazel xx
