I used this Memory Box Arboscello Tree die a while ago on this card.
I had die cut 2 trees and this one was in the UFO box
with the trunk and branches done in watercolor.
I used my Zigs to color the leaves.
Then I did a background, also with the Zigs.
All that was left was to adhere the tree to the background.
By the way, I looked up the meaning of Arboscello
since I'd never heard of such a tree.
According to Wiktionary it's Italian for sapling.
Interesting...
Outside the Box Challenge for Memory Box this month is
I'm not sure there'd be much shade from this little tree (sapling).
I'd head for it to get out of the sun.
I'm imagining that there's a nice pool in front of that tree.
That's where I'd be to cool off!
I hope you are enjoying a break from the heat.
Thanks for stopping by.
Enjoy!

lovely card, Bonnie - isn't it great what you can do with those Zigs!! i have that die and am not sure whether i ever have used it - will have to give it a try with watercolor!
WOW! You did great with those Zigs Bonnie! It's beautiful! Love the way you did the background on this and the tree is so pretty and life-like. Another gorgeous card!

I love your card Bonnie and I was using my zig pens less than an hour ago. I've had them for years and really like the way they work and go on and on.
I was interested to read your Wiktionary of the word. It's similar to the word for tree in Italian so the root of the word is probaby from the Latin. It probably means little tree. They say you learn something new every day so thank you Bonnie for sharing. Barbxx
Really beautiful card, Bonnie. The tree looks lovely against the soft colours of the background. xx
Lovely background Bonnie, and cute sapling xxx
What a pretty card Bonnie - love your use of watercolours behind it too.
Blessings

Beautiful watercolored scene, Bonnie! Looks like enough leaves to make shade to me!
What a good look ... the background really sets it all off. Aren't those Zigs fun to work with!

What a lovely summery card, so cheerful.
Wish we had a bit of heat, it's been lashing with rain this morning. Autumn is truly on it's way and we haven't had a decent summer, oh! well there's always next year LOL.
Beautiful watercoloring!
Hello Bonnie: Love your card, the title name of your post "Arboscello" made me think of Limonchello, you know? that delicious drink.....
Your card is lovely, the tree looks so beautiful with that amazing water colored background, feels like Autumn.
Bonnie, your watercolouring is just getting better and better! Lovely card! Thanks for the bit of information about the meaning of Arboscello! I have just ordered some Zigs - seeing you and Loll using them made me want them so badly!!
Love your scene! That tree is an awesome die, love how you colored it.
Love the color work on this pretty tree. This is one of my fav MB tree dies...very versatile. Great work on the background too. Looks like it ready for these green leaves to start turning for fall! Well done. TFS & Hugs
How gorgeous! Looks like a painting! This tree die is in my NBUS pile. Thanks for reminding me that I really should use it!
You did that background with Zigs? How fabulous, Bonnie. I must try it and and hope I get as good a result.
This has a very nice summery feel to it and I mean a pleasant summery feel, not the scorching heat we really get.
