It's time for another
It's Debbie's turn to choose our challenge this time and this is what she chose.
Last Fall I took a short watercolor class at our Senior Center.
One of the assignments was to do a Christmas tree.
No stamps, just paints and paintbrush.
I wasn't at all impressed with my project.
Recently, when I was looking through my folder, I spotted this tree and thought
maybe it would look better if it was on a smaller piece.
And it was perfect for this challenge.
I like it lots better done up in a card.
I don't think I'll be giving up my stamps anytime soon!
I'd love to see what you can do for this challenge!
Put some light green, dark green and red on a Christmas card
and join us at
I'm glad you could stop by.
Enjoy!

Maybe you should make your tree into a stamp. It's gorgeous. Looks lovely on your card. Hugs Mrs A.

Lovely wc Christmas tree Bonnie. Funny how we think something doesn't look very good but when we look at at a later date it looks rather good.

Done with no stamp -- beautiful and I am totally impressed!
Smiles and a hug.
As someone who cannot draw or paint freehand to save my life, I'm very impressed! I think it is lovely and it makes a fabulous card. Good for you, Bonnie, for stretching your talent with a watercolour course. And it is so perfect for the challenge!
It is a gorgeous tree! I'm glad to hear that you aren't giving up your stamps. You do too much good with them!
So creative--love it, Bonnie! You almost make me want to try it, but my excuse is having to justify that I have a million stamps--LOL
I'm glad you could cut down your watercolor and turn it into a card, Bonnie. It looks wonderful and to think you did it without benefit of a stamp.
Oh what a lovely watercolor tree Bonnie, love the stitched border and framing.
