Gingerbread Boy Tag

I've been feeding my tag addiction with
GINGERBREAD!

I've done the recipe on the computer and printed it on
some ancient parchment paper from my stash.

I cut it to fit a cardstock tag, adhered it and did
some distressing and stamped some splotches
for good measure.  (That's the way my recipe book looks.)

The Gingerbread Boy was stamped on
Baked Brown Sugar cardstock
and embossed.

I colored the buttons with a Copic Marker
and covered with Crystal Effects.

I dotted the eyes with a brown Copic Marker
and his bow tie with green.

The little strip at the bottom is dry embossed with hearts.
I couldn't get them to show up in the photo.

Some burlap twine finishes the tag off.

I'm going to join in at
again.

Thanks for the visit.

Enjoy!

Love the way you recreated the way a well-used recipe looks like! That's just what my recipe book looks like too! Adorable gingerbread boy! And the twine is the perfect rustic touch for it.

I love the way you inked up the recipe, Bonnie. I have a few that look like that, too, and it's the perfect background for that darling gingerbread man.

I don't know. With those lashes, gingerbread boy might be gingerbread girl. Or maybe gingerbread transgender. Still lovely though.
