We're halfway though the month already.
Is it just me or are they going faster?

CAS Mix Up
Here's a little inspiration in case you need some.
Using Brushos sprayed with water on stencil (this is the monoprint piece), Dry Embossing, Stamping, Heat Embossing, Loll's Heated Copper.
The vine background was done when I laid this Climbing Vine stencil (a birthday gift)
over mixed media paper, sprinkled with Brusho crystals and sprayed with water.
I immediately lifted the stencil and blotted with a paper towel.
You can see Loll's tutorial of how to do this here.
I pressed the inked up stencil on a clean piece of mixed media paper
and this card shows the result of that action.
I liked it better than the actual stenciling. That's why I'm showing it first.
The beautiful butterfly is made from copper that's been heated.
It's from my sweet friend Loll among other beautiful copper die cuts.
You'll be seeing more or those in the future.
The next card uses a piece that was sprinkled and sprayed over the stencil.
I actually did this one first.
Using Stamping, Brusho sprayed with water, Stencil, Dry Embossing, Shaped Die Cuts
I think I do better spraying with water!

A twofer!! :) LOVE the first card with the subtle backdrop. Perfect place for the butterfly to light. :) And love the drama of your second card. Lots of colour, balanced perfectly with the dark die-cut and border. So inspiring, my friend. xx
Both cards and stenciled vine Brushos backgrounds are just AMAZING Bonnie! So eye catching and artsy. I love all the color pigments from your Brushos and your finished CAS designs. TFS my friend. I need to play with my Brushos! Hugs, nancy
Love both of them but with a slight preference for the first one. The stencil monoprint is fabulous. And such a perfect background for the copper butterfly. Isn't that heated copper just the most beautiful stuff?!
Both of these are just stunning Bonnie my friend! I love how those colours all come from the one Brusho . . . just beautiful! Have a wonderful week! Hazel xx

Fabulous cards... Love the colours you have used...
Hugs Sylvie x
Beautiful cards, Bonnie.
I'm with you about preferring the first... but they are both lovely. I think it's that copper butterfly that steals the show. X
Have a good day. X
Fabulous inspiration using the brusho's and that heated copper is amazing x
Love the colors on the Brushos you used Bonnie - two lovely cards using that stem stencil!
I'm in love with the first card, the colour combo and subtle background where the colours just touch each other is PERFECTION :D It just lifts that beautiful copper butterfly. LOVE IT!
Both are so gorgeous! And love the different look you get from the two techniques! And that copper butterfly...stands out so beautifully! I love both cards! Now that I'm back home for a loooooong (hopefully) while, I can finally get some much needed stamping time and play in the CAS Mix It Up!
Wow !! Great 2 cards. I see a clear influence of Loll in the second card, and I did the perfect card. I love her attractive colors. Beautiful work with brushos.
hugs,

They are both beautiful, Bonnie! Love the vibrant colors. The copper butterfly is perfect for your first one and just love the blend of color in the second one! You are really on a creative roll there!
I love how you have used the Brushos Bonnie, so inspiring. Both cards are gorgeous.
Oh Bonnie, such a beautiful monoprint and the positive card is so dramatic. Love the die cut silhouette! Fun with Brushos!!!
I could not understand what you were on about regarding the stenciling until I saw that second card. Both are lovely but I'm with you that the top card makes me happier. It's not just that fab copper butterfly; its the stenciling or not stenciling or whatever you called it. Very lovely!
Wonderful effect with the Brushos and stencil - i am going to have to have a go! X
Just scrolled through some beauties I've missed, and while I can't comment on every one, just HAD to comment on this one. LOVE that sparkling butterfly, I've yet to have one of the burnt copper pieces turn out so lovely when we've tried. This one just glows against the wonderful look of your stencils & monoprinting. You've really embraced these new techniques, and are doing such a fabulous effort with them. Also loving your PB works too, and congrats on winning a die. PB has some super looks with the new release - and especially some pretty stickers too. TFS & Hugs
