There's a few days left to join in the challenge at
We've been having so much fun using sprays this month.
I love trying new things and becoming a bit more comfortable
with techniques I'm not sure of.
We've had some amazing entries in the gallery.
So much inspiration!
To make this card, I used a technique that Joanna (Jo-Jo's Spot) shared with us.
Thanks, Joanna!
I used embossing paste through a stencil then sprayed with the stencil in place.
I used a homemade spray of diluted Daffodil Delight re-inker and
another of diluted Calypso Coral. When it was dry, I went over it with Wink of Stella.
It really sparkles!
I taped over the stem before adding the paste and spraying. After the
paste was dry, I replaced the stencil and sponged the stem.
While the ink was still wet, I brushed on some Spring Green Pearl Ex Powder.
So I used Stamping, Stenciling, Spraying, and Sponging.
I think this is my favorite card that I've made.
Amazing considering that at the beginning of the month I was
not enjoying using sprays.
Now I'm so glad I gave them a good chance.
And I found that the homemade work very well. No need to buy.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Such a cheerful looking card! And a terrific looking technique with the embossing paste and spray.
Fabulous inspiration. There are so many ways to use stencils and sprays etc. as this challenge is proving. Your card is artsy, beautiful and loving the techniques x More ideas for me to try, thank you x
Your card is gorgeous Bonnie. I LOVE the paste through the flower head only ... makes it stand out above the stem --- fantastic design element. And I can see the sparkles from the wink .... very pretty. I'm happy that you have had lots of fun playing with sprays. :) xx
A beautiful card, Bonnie. An interesting way to use the stencil - another technique to try. xx

Just a note... I just tried Inka Gold in water to spray... wowzer, it really shines. Lovelovelove this card too. Sparkle is the name of the game.
Beautiful, Bonnie! Glad you enjoyed playing, even if it took the month to figure out some new things!

What a wonderful technique using sprays, Bonnie! Love the results of this beautiful card! What gorgeous colors too! Thanks for your details in creating this.
Beautiful card Bonnie! I have a whole box full of sprays and I don't think I've ever used them or at least not very often. You've inspired me. I'll have to drag them out.
Love the spray on top of the paste. It must be really shimmery with the Wink of Stella. Perfect sentiment to go with your sprinkling of glass beads.
I could tell that this was really sparkly. That's a cool idea to spray the embossing paste. That opens up the door for all sorts of colors!
I have just seen this stencil over at Loll's blog and you have both done wonders with it. The texture paste has given it great dimension and you can see the lovely sparkle too. x
Love this flower stencil. Saw it on Loll's and liked it so much there, now enjoying it in another version here on your blog. TFS the links to the techniques too, I'll be looking at those. Your sprays are just wonderful. Must try this! Hugs & TFS.
Beautiful card Bonnie and a great technique! I've managed to miss the challenge again this month!
Boy did this turn out great, Bonnie! I really need to make use of my stencils & my sprays as I have a huge collection of both! Sometimes I think it'd be better not to have so many products & ideas--haha!
