Building Snowmen for Merry Monday

Good Merry Monday Morning!

Our challenge this week is brought to us by Colleen.

I had this image in my UFO box.  I had done the stamping and the sky.
I don't remember why I didn't finish it.
I guess I knew I'd be needing it for Merry Monday this week!

So I colored the scene by scribbling markers on my palette (a piece of
laminated, white cardstock) and picking up the color with a
Blender Pen.

After it was all colored up, I used Dazzling Details quite liberally
over the scene.  Doesn't it look chilly?

Unfortunately the piece has quite a wave from all that dazzle.
I've mounted it on a piece of fun foam.  It helps but it's still waving a bit.

What's your favorite winter activity?

Hope to see it at Merry Monday!

and my snippets of design piece and black will take me over to
where there are always some fun activities going on!

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Delightful little scene.I love all the layering up which culminates in the image. Perfect.
The ducks were not at all amused this morning over in the playground as there was ice on the pond. I had to go over with one of The docs hammers and break it up. Nearly broke my neck as I skidded off and did a quick twirl before grabbing hold of Parsnip!! Hugs Mrs A.

What a fun scene! I like how it simply framed so all the attention is on the image and coloring.

My favorite winter activity is curling up somewhere inside and cozy with a kitty or two and reading a book. I'm a lizard and I don't like cold (and yes, by my lizard standards it gets cold here in So. AZ.). Your winter scene is very sweet and they look like they are having fun despite the chill.

I wouldn't have noticed the waviness if you hadn't mentioned it! It's a great sparkly winter scene - looks like the kids and their dog are having a great time! The embossing folder makes a great frame around the edges.

Oh so pretty! It has a Christmas past vintage feel to it. And I love the scoring of layers (is it scoring? lol).
