Happy Fall

Did you hear that the first day of Fall (or Autumn) is this week?

I love Fall with the beautiful colors and smells.

It will be a while before we see much color here
so I had to create some of my own.

I die cut this Arboscello Tree from Memory Box from watercolor paper

I scribbled with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers on
a pallete, spritzed with water and smooshed the leafy part of the tree into it.

I die cut some of the top of the tree from the leftover watercolor paper
and smooshed that too.

The tree is a double thickness for extra body and I snipped some of the
extra leaves to "fall" on the ground.

BTW: According to Mr. Google, arboscello is Italian for sapling.

Thank you for the explanation of arboscello I was wondering what type of tree it was. Your colours on that fabulous tree are amazing Bonnie. Love the doubling up of the die cut tree and the way you popped on more of the leaves onto the ground. The wood embossed card and the frame all go together so beautifully. Loving this one, so clean, so pretty and so fresh. Love the 'about me' photo too Bonnie x

Absolutely gorgeous, I'm waiting for our acer to drop it's leaves, it's been turning since July unusually. This card reminds of of the tree last Autumn, so VERY beautiful.

Bonnie, your leaves are so brilliant that when I first saw this I thought they were copper! How beautiful this is. Love the idea of the leaves on the ground too!

The leaves are turning in places here, Bonnie, even though it's been unseasonably warm. I love their color and your tree looks like one I can look at through my craft room window.

Marcia HIll said... did I miss this?! What a stunning card Bonnie! Absolutely LOVE how you colored and doubled up the tree...I thought it was metallic at first! Did you use an embossing folder on the card base? It looks woodgrain to me and just love that using it with a tree! Totally GORGEOUS card my friend!! :0)
