When I saw Loll's watercolor holly card, it made me think of
a piece I had in my UFO box. So another UFO finds a home.
I had stamped the small holly from the Hero Arts Happy Holly Days set,
heat embossed with white, and did a loose, wet on wet watercolor.
One of the holly bunches didn't look so good.
A circle die took care of that.
I embossed a larger circle with a Hero Arts Infinity Die
and adhered the design to it.
Since most of the work was done, this was pretty quick.
Choosing the twine took longer than anything else!
I'm joining in at
where Mo and friends host an
ANYTHING GOES FOR CHRISTMAS challenge
every month on the 25th thru the end of the month.
A great way to build that stash of Christmas cards.
Our oldest daughter, Jenny is on a mission trip in Zambia.
Actually I think the children at the Agape Village Orphanage are
ministering to her! She is writing about their time together on
the Agape Village Blog. Today's post made me cry....tears of joy.
God is good!
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Beautiful and the twine looks just lovely!! Wonderful card Bonnie!! :0)
You did a wonderful job with your loose watercolor on this lovely card, Bonnie. Love that you topped it with twine, perfectly matching your card base. God bless you daughter and wishing her a safe return.
Good looking card -- I like the soft watercolouring against the strong green mat -- you make it all look easy but it takes lots of skill and experience as I am patiently (??) learning!
A perfect card Bonnie. Love it.
I made a New Year's Resolution to use one piece from my UFO box each week but I'm not doing so well at sticking to it!! But your lovely card has reminded me to try and do it. Great loose watercolouring - so pretty with the white heat embossing. And nice contrast having the green panel. Isn't it great when we can use die cutting to deal with the not-so-good bits?
Great save with your elegant card and the twine is a great choice! You must be so proud of Jenny x
Gorgeous card, Bonnie, the dark green card makes the circle in the centre really pop.
I sorted out my UFO box this morning, I'd forgotten most of it was in there. LOL! I must actually get round to using some of it. xx
Lovin' that wonderful green! Such a pretty card .

Lovely! I don't want to even think about my UFO box!
It's gorgeous, and I love the embossed circle in the deep rich green. It's a stunning card, perfect for Rudy Day. TFS
Gotta love being able to use UFOs. Really pretty shade of green and the die cut / embossed circle frames your beautifully coloured images perfectly. Great idea and save. A fantastic festive card, Bonnie. xx
Love those watercolored holly, very pretty. Great save, wouldn't have know there were more holly that didn't make the cut. lol . Read your Jenny's post too. Sounds like a very successful trip for everyone. Hugs!
Beautifully stamped and coloured Bonnie and the twine and background really compliment the main focal image x

Hi Binnie,
Happy Rudolf Days.
what a lovely card and that holly image is super.
Love your water colouring and your CAS design.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
I'm smiling Bonnie as I've been digging in my UFOs too - I often stamp two images so I've one ready for when I just want to colour and relax. You're holly card is just lovely and again you're not alone with some little 'cover ups'. I also read your daughters post and marvel at the love and energy some Christian works share... I can hear that song in my head, it was one of my fav at Sunday School many years ago. Have a lovely Easter hugs, your daughter is very special
You have the most beautiful things in your UFO box, my frind! Gorgeous watercoloured holly. Love it paired with the deep green card front. So pretty! Thanks for the link to Jenny's writings. What an amazing account of all the work that has gone on to improve the children's lives of the Agape Village. xx
