I hope you are having a good weekend.
It's dreary and rainy here today. A perfect day to stay inside and craft
or catch up a bit on blogging.
Last month I was playing with the Papertrey ink Year of Flowers violets.
You can see those cards here if you're interested or need a refresher.
This card came about because of an unwanted smudge on the flower piece.
I covered it with an aperture and because we're using acetate for CAS Mix Up
this month, I decided to make it into a shaker card.
I cut a matching aperture in a piece of fun foam and adhered it over the design piece.
The acetate was adhered behind the aperture cut in the front piece
that had been splattered and stamped with a sentiment.
I made sure to add adhesive close to the opening, added a few sequins and
micro beads, and very carefully adhered the pieces together.
(Those sequins are purple IRL not blue. Silly camera!)

Silly camera indeed.....Love how you've done a cute shaker card, kept the shaker element cute and small. The violet stamped and coloured flower is adorable too x
Like the silly camera bit - mine does the same thing and it's frustrating. No matter if they're blue or purple though because your card is beautiful! Love this!

Very pretty card!
I am always impressed with a lovely save of a pretty image like this. Great shaker!
Great save for that lovely flower Bonnie - I love shakers - they are just so magical on a card! Pretty splatter on the panel as well! Julia xx
awesome way to save such a pretty image. Don't you just hate those little smudges :). Love the mix of sequins and beads for your shaker along with the perfect CAS design.
Beautiful flowers for your shaker card, Bonnie. A wonderful way to use acetate. TFS my friend. Hugs
What a beautiful card Bonnie - love the splattered background - or should that be foreground?
Blessings

I always think of shakers as "cute" cards, but this is just lovely Bonnie with the violet! CAS and just perfect...LOVE it!! :0)
What a beautiful card from an accidental smudge. Way to save it and turn it into a shaker. This is really gorgeous.
Beautiful shaker card and a great save of the lovely floral image.
So pretty, Bonnie. Love your watercoloured violet made into a shaker card. xx
Fabulous shaker card, Bonnie - just love how you colored the violets!!
What a lovely little shaker, Bonnie. I love the splattered front panel.
Such a beautiful shaker card, Bonnie! Love those violets - can't wait for the ones in my garden to bloom.
What a beautiful image you chose for a shaker card! I'd done a shaker card but they sure do give me fits. Your painting on this is so beautifully done and love the light spatter on your card front. This is fabulous, Bonnie.
I have a silly camera too!
Lovely card Bonnie. x
Goes to show never throw anything out - you never know when you WILL use it. I think we all have a silly camera that sees blue instead of purple. What a beautiful card here Bonnie. The pansies are colour perfection. Great colour combinations all round. Fabulous shaker bits too.
Oh, this is so pretty Bonnie! I love a shaker and this one is particularly pretty! Have a great day! Love & Hugs. Hazel xx
