Enamel Stars for CAS Mix Up

Hello friends.  I'm glad you could stop by.

We're halfway through the month and I have another CAS Mix Up card to share.

Using embossing powders, stamping, heat embossing, and die cutting

Loll is our hostess at CAS Mix Up this month

I've used the same technique that I used on this card.

I've used mainly white and gold embossing powder on this one.

I love how the heated powders move and swirl!

I've added one medium and two small stars to some sparkle paper
that I've had for ages.  I fear I'm coming to the end of it.  Hope I can find more.

The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed on a snippet of gold
and I tucked some gold thread behind it.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Christmas Sentiments (Kaisercraft)
Ink:   Whisper White (SU)
Paper:   Neenah, Sparkle, Gold Metallic
Other:  Cardboard, EP (clear, white, gold), Gold Thread

Gorgeous marbled swirls on your neutral colored heated Layered Embossing stars, Bonnie. I love your added gold thread and sentiment. Your card would be a "Joy" to touch and admire in the light. TFS my friend. Hugs

Your stars are so pretty, Bonnie. The layered embossing powders have created a marbled effect that gives the stars a really artsy look. Great layout and design with your gold sentiment banner and thread. xx

I just love the earth tone colors on your card Bonnie - and the wonderful thick swirls of color on your stars - so pretty with the thin gold thread and little splatters! Julia xx

Lots of mouvement in this beauty, Bonnie, I can feel the cold coming on ;-)
The natural tones to this card are wonderful. I can understand why you chose this special sparkle paper for this piece. The gold thread is the perfect touch too! xx

I am swooning over this card. Bonnie, it is so beautiful. As soon as I finish the project I'm working on now, I intend to try this. I stopped at a garage sale yesterday to look at a table for my granddaughter's house and I saw a griddle! My first thought was this technique! It was so nasty I didn't get it but that just shows how stamping has taken over my life!

I love this - it's now taken over from one of your previous cards for top spot as my all-time favourite of your cards. Love those wonderful encrusted jewel stars, the simple sentiment and twirl of thread. What wonderful background paper with the flecks in it - the kind of paper I'd hoard for sure.

What a pretty and interesting effect of your layered embossing, Bonnie! Love that you heat-embossed the sentiment on a gold strip and added the gold thread behind it. The sparkle paper looks perfect for your stars. Hideko xx
