What's in Your Cup for CAS Stencil

Hi there.  Are you ready for the weekend?

H

I sponged some Real Red ink through a stencil.
When I removed the stencil, I spritzed with some water and laid it
on a piece of Mixed Media paper and pressed down.
This created a stencil monoprit that looks like a warm and cozy
sweater or afghan.

It's been paired up with a cup colored with red re-inker dropped
onto a wet die cut cup.  I've filled the cup with some hot cappuccino
and a healthy helping of whipped cream.
(Whipped cream is healthy isn't it?)

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Card Recipe

What a fun and yummy look. Guess you would have to call this a "onefer" that qualifies for all 3 CAS Challenges...smart idea!

OOOHHH Bonnie, I simply love this card, your cappuccino mug is brilliant with its creamy layer seems to stand right off the card and that stencil monoprint is fabulous - a perfect card for all the CAS challenge, thanks for sharing with CAS Stencil, hugs Robyn

Fabulously designed card that fits the three challenges! Not an easy thing to do. Love that sweet winter sweater design monoprint. What a great idea to sponge through the stencil first to get an impression, then spritz to get a monoprint! Very clever. Also love the deep red of your coffee mug. The sparkly whipped cream looks delicious on top! :) xx

How clever to cover three of the challenges with this card Bonnie and a great way to get a monoprint which is such a strong and clear print especially as you stencilled on to a piece of card and then used that to transfer the colour on to another piece of card, so clever, and then the beautiful rich colour of the mug with the pretty glitter card showing through the cut out snowflake on the side and also making the whipped cream on the top. A fabulous monochromatic card! x

Great card, Bonnie. Whipped ream is healthy as long as it's dairy free. For me at least.

What a sweet afghan sweater monoprint, Bonnie!
A cup of hot cappuccino adds more warm and cozy feel to the card. Love the rich shades of the red cup.
Whipped cream? Ha ha ha~ that’s organic non-fat whipped cream, right? ;-P

Great winter card, strongly warming colors. This cup looks beautiful. It looks like it is made of thick porcelain. Beautiful background made by watercolor. Just like a warm sweater. And whipped cream .... yum, I can't stop drooling
