How are things in your neck of the woods?
I hope all is well with you and yours.
Hilary is hosting CAS Stencil this month...
I've sponged some Peacock Feathers and Mowed Lawn Distress ink on a piece
of Neena cardstock. Using a mesh stencil, I added some Pine Needles ink, removed
the stencil and sprtized water on it, flipped it over and pressed it on the inked piece.
After blotting with a paper towel, I had some stencil monoprint.
When everything was good and dry, I placed this Bamboo stencil over top
and inked some Distress Black Soot ink through it.
I was able to cut the piece in half and get a second card from it.

What a fantastic look Bonnie, I love the background colours and the stencil monoprinting, and the stencilled bamboos leaves are so pretty over the top and love both cards you have made, and I adore the pretty wshite embossed butterfly over the top of the second card too. x
WOW...what a cool look Bonnie! Love the bold color and YAY for getting two cards from one piece! The silhouetted bamboo was the perfect stencil to use on that wonderful background too...LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
Wonderful colours and it is always a bonus to get 2 cards from 1 panel. I love the added interest that you get from creating the monoprint. I will have to try that more often. Thanks for taking the trouble to join us this month Bonnie xx
Perfect green/blue color for that bamboo! Love the way you used the stencils on these. Great cards.

Great, a twofer! I love that bright green you achieved with the inks and the bamboo looks so good against it. The butterfly is a nice added perk and so pretty.
Cooool backgrounds Bonnie, team well with the stencilled bamboo, love the one with a butterfly as a finishing touch, hugs and stay safe Robyn
Beautiful, and two cards to boot! I'm a fan of soothing green. Love how you added the butterfly to the second card.
Beautiful Bonnie, I love the pop of black on the green such a stunning contrast :)

This is so inspiring Bonnie - what colours! What textures! Vicky x
What amazes me is your imagination in creating and executing these challenges. That background is fabulous! Thanks for the reminder to do stencil mono printing for a unique background. It’s the perfect backdrop for you bamboo leaves.
Beautiful twofers, Bonnie. Amazing background created with layering stencils. And thanks for reminding me I have that bamboo stencil, too!
These are gorgeous, Bonnie!
This is spectacular! What a wonderful combination of stencils and colours
Two beautiful cards from your stencil monoprint Bonnie! Love the bright green with the black stenciling over top. Very beautiful asian design ... the colours are perfect together. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Stencil! xx
Thank you Bonnie for sharing both your beautiful layered stenciling background cards. Your bright blue green stenciling with black stamped bamboo really pops. Your die cut butterfly is so beautiful too. TFS your monoprint stenciling over your positive stenciled background technique. I have never tried that. I love the stencil layered effect and then your third stenciled bamboo layer. Wow... Thank you for always inspiring me my friend. So pleased you joined us at CAS Stencil. Love and Hugs..hope you were not effected by all the rain and flooding in your part of the country.
great looking cards...well done mf.
Hope you are all well as we get through these tough times.
xx Karen
Beautiful cards Bonnie. Love the look of the bamboo stencil over the lovely background. The pretty butterfly pops against it on the second card. Thanks for all the inspiration you share. Hugs.
Your background looks amazing. I have the impression that this is a photo of a holographic background ... Yes, I know, the image will not move with the rotation of the card, but this frame looks amazing. You beautifully combined black bamboo with a black frame, it beautifully merges the image. The white butterfly on the second card is as delicate as lace. Incredible!

Wonderful triple stencil layered twofers, Bonnie! Using the monoprint technique as part of layered stencils is so clever! And I love that the background is bamboo green and the bamboo image is black!

Two really fabulous cards, Bonnie! I love how you layered your stencils and how you achieved such rich colors with your inks! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at CAS Stencil!
Love the black and green Bonnie - quite stunning and lovely layering of stencils!
Love the double stencilled background and the black bamboo is so delicate and perfect. The white vellum flutter softens the frame on the second. Both beautiful! xx
