Christmas Inchies

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I'm skidding in at the last minute for the Jingle Belles Challenge.

Steph and Lauren are asking for inchies or twinchies on a Christmas card.

I found one last strip of Alexandra Renke Washi tape mounted on a piece of cardstock in
my Christmas UFO box.  I punched 1 inch circles from some of the designs,
punched 1 1/4 inch circles from red cardstock, 1 3/8 inch circles from Champagne Foil
and layered them up.

I added a sparkly snowflake behind the middle inchie and put it all on a piece of
cardstock embossed with holiday words.

As a twofer....

I was able to punch 3 more inchies from the rest of the tape and
made them into a birthday card for one of the guys.

I'd better stop and get the Christmas card in before the challenge closes.

I'll stop in at Rudolph Days too.

Challenges:
Jingle Belles - Inchies
Rudolph Days - ATG Christmas

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

At first look, I thought to myself, now how could Bonnie paint all those little images...then I read about the washi tape, What a clever way to use that Bonnie, I love that idea and I love how you mad them with inchies. The design is awesome and especially the masculine birthday card! Well done in skidding under the wire with these! Heart Hugs, Col

Such pretty washi tape Bonnie and a very clever way to use the last pieces up and you have made two terrific cards. I love the dry embossed seasonal background and the silver glitter snowflake behind the central circle on the first, and the masculine birthday card looks great too. x

Two great looking cards. That EF on the first card is a great eye catcher plus the snowflake adds a nice touch. And the layering of the circles gives a finished look. Guy cards for me are always a challenge but you sure came up with a good one...the colors and the Pinewood Planks EF really work.

Fun design and very attractive. Red and white have always caught my eye - one of my favorite combinations especially at Christmas.

Two lovely cards. At first I thought you had stamped those images but read it was Washi tape. Very creative and a great way to use the Washi Tape. TFS

What a great idea to punch small circles out of that beautiful washi tape! Love the way you layered them up, especially on the first card with a snowflake layered behind the middle one, and then used the embossing folder to create the sentiment.

What a great use of washi tape Bonnie, these cards are so beautiful! I am so loving the washi you used, never have seen such beautiful washi. The Christmas card with the embossing and inchies is so pretty. Love how you put the snowflake behind the bird image. The guy card, well I am loving that one a lot too! Perfect for a masculine birthday card. I love the simplicity of the background embossing or at least it looks like it has a subtle embossing. Just perfect for that guy in your life! Hugs, Brenda

I am so far behind on commenting Bonnie, but couldn't let this post go by without commenting...both cards are FABULOUS!! I love that washi tape you used and still have quite a full roll of it myself, so if you ever need more, just holler! I love how you made the inchies into circles rather than squares on both cards, and your backgrounds are awesome too! Lovely, lovely cards my friend! Hugs. :0)

Such beautiful washi tape. I love how you've used your inchie circles to frame these little pieces of art. Great design with your Christmas card. The snowflake behind the center circle really brings the eye. And great texture with the embossing folder background.

And goes to show that you can use Christmas washi tape for a different type of card. This makes a great masculine card. Love it! xx

What a great idea to use the washi tape as the focal point of your circles. That is really pretty washi tape!

Love the embossed background, setting the scene for these pretty twinchies.

Thanks for taking part in the first Rudolph Days Challenge of this year.
