Special Crafty Time

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

A few days ago I mentioned  that I had a special visitor.
What a treat to meet Michele in person!
I am really honored that they would drive all the way from Michigan to visit!

She's as much fun as I expected and a great hugger.
Thanks for the hugs from my Michigan friends.
I sent some back to you too.

Our sweet friend Nance was able to come visit with us for an afternoon.

We shared lot of press plates, stamps and dies and I have lots of
things to color and put on cards.

Does it look like we're having a good time?

It was the best time!

Bruce and Tom had a good time too.  The timing was perfect to keep Bruce's mind
off his cataract surgery today.

I have a card made from a press plate that Michele brought to share.

I pressed this pretty tree using some Stampin' Up ink and added a bit of coloring
at the bottom, some sparky stars and chunky embossing powder.

I'm still pinching myself, Bonnie! It was such a wonderful time! Just look how pretty your red pressing came together - I love it and all the sparkly goodness and 'tree skirt' you've added!
I sure hope Bruce's surgery went well - let us know, okay?
Thanks again for opening your home and arms to welcome us to NC!

I am pea green with envy - now tell the truth, have ya'll been drinking wine! Your card is wonderful - full of Christmas spirit. I'm not sure I know what a press plate is. Hmmmmm, do I need one?
Hope all went well with the cataract surgery.
