Merry & Bright

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Recently I saw this tree on Susan's card and though I'm on a spending freeze,
it came to reside in my Christmas collection.

I thought it would be perfect for a Black and Red Challenge.

The tree was stamped and embossed. The shine gives the photo a bit of a gray look.
I assure you it is very black and shiny.

Challenges:
Color Hues #98 - Red & Black
NBUS #68 - Never Before Used Schtuff

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Christmas Joy (Lavinia), What the Doodle Ornaments (PTI)
Ink:   Versafine Onyx Black, Real Red
Paper:   Neenah Solar White, Black
Other:  Clear EP, Double Pierced Rectangles Die (AE), Gems (various), Stars (Queen & Co)

Enjoy!

a simple and elegant card, Bonnie. Love the simplicity of this and the gems to jazz it up a bit. Now I just have to have that tree stamp!

Stunningly beautiful in its simplicity! I've been on a spending freeze for a day or two. I need to do that again. The best way is to quit looking (as if).

What's a spending freeze?? Hahaha!! Obviously those words aren't in my vocabulary!! But anyway, I'm glad you did spend because this tree is awesome Bonnie, and I love that it's shiny black and adorned with the red & gold pearls...it fits our color challenge perfectly! Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us at Color Hues!! Hugs. :0)
