Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
We are firmly entrenched in the hot summertime. Here's where I'd
like to be.
Maybe not as I write this. There's a tropical storm headed out way so those
ocean breezes might be a little too stiff.
I made a bunch of these cards for last month's swap with my Craft Group.
There are a LOT of pieces to die cut and put together!
I cut all those pieces from cardstock and patterned paper scraps.
The background was brushed on and the sun is a punched circle with ink added
around the edges. The sand is torn paper with acrylic paint along the edges
for foam along the shore and breaking waves.

Looks like a great place to be. Love the scene you created Bonnie and nice colors.
It feels pretty tropical on our beach, Bonnie.. you're welcome to spread that beach towel here anytime!
OH, this is just fantastic! LOve her suit!

Gorgeous scene, Bonnie, so real and relaxing -- what a place to be (minus the storm)!
The sun and sea look like a good place to be, Bonnie, and your lovely sunbather agrees.
I just love your blue patterned paers and the soft beachy look. You've created the ultimate beach scene. I love this die set and now I want to get it out and use it before summer is over. Thanks for playing with us at Just Us Girls this week!

That beach looks so inviting! Love the papers you used for the swimsuit and the tote bag. The water and sand look so realistic! A great card.
Looks like an awesome place to be and I wouldn't mind a body like hers either! Definitely a wonderful Summer scene you created Bonnie and I sure hope the storm stays away!! Hugs. :0)
By the sea, by the sea, by the beautiful sea! I feel the ocean breeze as we speak. Wait a minute, I live near the ocean, no wonder I can feel the breezes! I love this card - I love the way you did her bathing suit - really creative. The ocean looks so cool and wavy. But I have to say, I feel the heat coming from the sun!!
Sandy xx
What a lovely beach scene. All those little dies might be fiddly, but they are well worth the effort xx
WOW! Brilliant card, my dear Bonnie. I love every detail of this summery, seaside scene, the girl's swimsuit is a real height of creation. It looks like it came from an expensive fashion house. Thank you for the wonderful inspiration
hugs,
