Perky White Flowers

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Green is such a good color for this time of year.  I am seeing green in the
trees and the grass.

I have used a NBUS die from Simon Says Stamp that was cut from Neenah Solar White
cardstock and colored with Copic markers.

It's a simple design, but one I use a lot and the white pops so well on the medium
green background.

Here's another but embracing the yellow.  After all it is Pine Pollen Season here!
(Even the green is yellow!)

This time I cut the flower from light yellow cardstock and added some yellow
ink around the edges with a finger dauber.

By using a different embossing folder and a white background framed in yellow,
it gives a different look.

I made the ladybugs by punching a circle from red and one from black and
gluing the red slightly offset over the black.  An ultrafine Sharpie works great
for the dots.  The punch is an old one but one I think you find in any big box store or
office supply.

Hopefully it flew on and I'll see it again today.

Enjoy!

The two color ways do make the cards look different but equally beautiful, Bonnie. It's a great way to make multiples without getting bored. Your butterfly is beautiful too. Do you know what kind it is?

Perky, and perfectly perfect, Bonnie - in both colors! You're way ahead of me in the Spring department! It will be the end of June before we see any of our butterflies - thanks so much for sharing that gorgeous Swallowtail!

It's a Swallowtail butterfly. Sorry, I should have added that.
