My friend Nance came to play last week. It's always fun to catch up and
play with each other's toys! Nance had a treasure trove of things for me to try.
I actually have a completed card from our playdate!
This bird die came from Waffle Flower (I think) and has a stencil with it. I'm terrible at
stenciling but wanted to give it a try. It went pretty well this time. I perched him on
a leaf that was die cut from an Alex Syberia die and used one of Nance's new
embossing folders to frame it all.

So sweet and I really like your embossed background. Did I tell you we have Mr. and Mrs. Bluebird feeding in our back yard? I had never seen one until we moved here. Beautiful blue colors and you see the blue more when they fly.

Very pretty, Bonnie! I can't imagine why you think you can't stencil because this is wonderful! Mr Bird and branch are perfectly resting within the embossing and it's terrific.
