Dreamy

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I used some patterned paper!

Those of you that visit often know that I rarely use patterned paper.
Oh, I buy it.  But it's so hard for me to cut into it.  This was a strip left over
from a previous project. The only cutting required was a bit off the bottom.
No heart palpitations or breath holding required!

I used Jen T.'s sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #733

This is a great sketch to use those leftover strips of paper!

Thanks Jen, for challenging me out of my comfort zone.

I can see why you didn't want to cut it but it is perfect with this butterfly. It made a beautiful card. Now you can cut another end off and make another beautiful card. It just keeps giving!

Wow, that's some gorgeous paper! You know I'm an addict. I have to tell myself it looks better on a card than it does sitting in a dark closet, yet I still have way more than I can use. The butterfly is amazing and such a good match that it appears to have fluttered right out of the paper!

That's beautiful patterned paper! Love how you used it with the text embossed background and the blue butterfly. I have stopped buying patterned paper as I so rarely use it. It's not that hard to cut into it, but it's just that my style has changed. Though if it's particularly beautiful paper, it's hard to cut into as I worry about using it all up!

Ooh, you should use patterned paper more often, Bonnie! That strip is the perfect landing for your gorgeous butterfly! It was meant to be. Thanks so much for joining Freshly Made Sketches this week!
