Strawberries

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

We're getting fresh strawberries right now.  It seems like it's much earlier
than we used to get them.  That doesn't keep us from enjoying them

It's no wonder when I saw Michelle L.'s sketch at
that strawberries popped into my mind.  Here's the sketch....

I've used the leaves to represent the largest circle, the strawberries for the lowest circle,
and the flowers for the top circle.  Looking at the sketch again, I think one flower would
have been enough.  Too late now.

I hope I haven't veered too far off the sketch!

Your strawberries look so real - good enough to eat! And I really like the colors you have used - crisp and clean.

I can see the sketch perfectly with your beautiful strawberries Bonnie, and they look absolutely delicious the way you've colored them! We have frost on the ground this morning, so no strawberries for us yet...usually mid June! Enjoy them while they're around...one of the best fruits God ever created IMHO!! Hugs. :0)

My mouth is watering, they look so good. They just pop off the card and ask to be devoured. That is a fun sentiment to go along with them!

Delicious! I think berries are the perfect interpretation of the sketch, they make us think of Spring, even if it is slow to come to some. Pretty card, Bonnie

My goodness, Bonnie, your strawberries look good enough to eat! And I can see the sketch whether you had one flower or four! Thanks, always, for joining Freshly Made Sketches!

You made me pull my strawberries out and look at them again. I love this set! You used it beautifully with the sketch and in a most creative way. Who could deny the deliciousness of this fabulous card? We're a long way from fresh local strawberries here. They're in the stores, but not from here.

Great take on the sketch. When I lived in California we had strawberries in March...Maryland it was May. Ohio...I'll soon find out there is a fab berry farm not far from here, and they had tasty berries last year.

Your scrumptious berries and bitty blooms were the perfect elements for this sketch! Such a splendid card, Bonnie!
