Sunflower Times Four

Hi there.  I'm glad you stopped by!

Here's another of the Split Four technique.

I used a TCW Stencil and used a sponge dauber to add color with Distress ink.

I started with Mustard Seed then added some Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide ink
to the center of each petal

The sentiment above is from PTI.

The ones below are from Tim Holtz.

I added some Wink of Stella to the petals on the card below.

There's still time to join in at CAS Mix Up where we're using stencils this month.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

So Kind, Just Because

Hello there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I've used another of my stenciled Split 4 backgrounds to make a card
for our sweet Emmy.

I've stamped these cute little guys with Memento Ink and colored with Copics.

and for the boys...

Here are two more from the Split 4.  (The 4th didn't make it to a card.)

The above card on the right was shared last week.  I added a sentiment before
sending it off.  Then I needed to do one for Luke too.

Split Four Wildflower Garden

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I have a set of cards I did using the Split Four Technique.

I first saw this technique done on Marcia's blog and I was intrigued.

I looked through my stamps to see what I thought would work for this technique.

This Altenew Wildflower Garden set was sitting in my NBUS box and it seemed to
be a good candidate for this technique.

Once the stamping was done, I cut the piece in quarters and decided how I
wanted to orient them.

Some die cutting, narrow mats, splattering and a bit of embossing and I had
four cards.

I left off the sentiments until I decide what I need to use them for.

This is a great technique for some quick cards.
