Trick or Treat

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

My friend Nance came to spend the day and we had a fun time creating together.

She brought they fun Halloween Puppies for me to try.

The one on the right reminds me of our Granddog George. lol

I colored the die cuts with Copics and used some patterned paper that a friend 

shared with me.  The Deckled piece has been embossed with a brick embossing folder.

Open if You Dare

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

It's class week so it's pretty busy around here, but I squeezed some time to

put this Betterpress image on a card.

It was pressed with Betterpress ink on their paper and cut with an arch die.

I backed it with the next larger arch cut in black.

It's colored, rather sloppily (but it's for Halloween and doesn't need to be 

pretty) with Zigs.

I added a bat and spider for a little extra fun.

I'm thinking I'll add a skull on the inside to pop up when opened.

Best Witches

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Not long ago, a sweeet friend sent me an adorable mini stamp set.  I had fun

inking and coloring this fun witchy kitty.

I stamped, colored with Copics, die cut and embossed to make another

Halloween card.  I added a few rhinestones too.  She looked like she wanted

some sparkle.

Thank you for the stamps, sweet friend.

I Gotta Crow

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Actually my friend has a crow and she let me borrow it to use for 

Halloween cards for the grandsons.

Here's the first one...

I die cut the crows from black glimmer paper and assembled them.  The branches

were cut from plain black cardstock.

All the backgrounds were in the smooshed and splashed background stash and

embossed with my spiderweb embossing folder.  (Always a favorite at Halloween.)

Here are the other two....

I used a background done with Lindy's Magicals. It has a nice shimmer.

The spiderweb was swiped with my white ink pad to make it stand out more.

and the final one.....

This background was pretty light so I swiped the web with a black inkpad.  The 

sentiment was embossed with some Lindy's sparkly orange embossing powder.

All the eyes are punched from a snippet of gold foil.

Creepy Tweet

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

When I saw these puffy birds all decked out for Halloween,

I just had to order the stamps!

These guys make me smile!

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #699 for this round guy.

His belly made me thing of Verena's sketch.

I tried to use the sketch for the whole card and needed to put the sentiment a

bit lower.  I hope that's okay.  My eyes keep going to his belly anyway.

Spooky Fun with Penny Black

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I'm excited to be Guest Designing with the gals at the

Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

It's one of my favorite challenges and Penny Black products are

my at the top of my list for products.

This challenge is always Anything Goes using a Penny Black product, but I like

to try to us the optional theme.

This month's theme is Cute or Spooky which seemed perfect for Halloween.

Except that I didn't have any Penny Black Halloween products.

So I HAD to go shopping!

This scary kitty caught my eye, and the bats and the background words...

The trees were in my stash already.

I had so much fun making this!

Double Trouble

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

The Group of Seven Cardmakers is using vellum on our cards this month.

I die cut vellum and put over matching white ghosts to get a more

spooky look.  I attached the vellum at the top so the bottom could hang over

the fence.

I used sponging and lots of fun Halloween stamps in the background and 

had this fun Halloween fence in my stash.

The bat was stamped on Neenah, colored with a Copic marker and fussy cut.

This witch has crash landed.  Do you suppose the spider made her take a nose dive?

The cat seems to be rolling her eyes like she's saying "not again".

Boo

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Halloween is just around the corner!

This little card has a little bit of everything.

I stamped the image and colored with Copics, Die cut a frame and a liner for the frame

along with a spider web and Boo.  The frame has been embossed with a very old

spider web embossing folder.

I think this cat is scared of that spider!
