With St. Patrick's Day a little over a week away, green is showing up eveywhere....even on my blog!
Last week I did a couple of cards with a tiny shamrock and confessed that I don't usually do much for St. Patrick's Day.
Well, it seems that I've gotten in the swing of this holiday too!
I've been stalking the galleries and saw several cards using hearts to make a shamrock. I pulled out my I {Heart} Hearts set and the stamp-a-ma-jig and went to work. As hard as I tried, I couldn't get a 4 leaf clover with this heart. And since my {heart} was set on using this particular stamp, I opted for a 3 leaf clover. I don't think they're as lucky, but as dry as it is, anything green is lucky here!
Or, maybe we could say that a leprechaun picked one of the leaves so we wouldn't know that it was lucky. I hear they are sneaky little creatures!
The layout is from Stampin' 411's Saturday Sketch Challenge #193. It was a perfect layout for this design. The card is 5 1/2" square.
These challenges spurred me on to the wearin' of the green,
