We're halfway through the month already!
There's a little over a week left to play at
Using stamping, watercolor wash and dry embossing.
The Design Team and our Guest Designer, Cathy R.
have some fantastic inspiration to share with you.
I've used a NBUS stamp, Wildflowers, from Technique Tuesday to
stamp on a piece of watercolor wash.
The bloom made me think of mist rising off the lake.
It wasn't intentional, just a happy happening!
I've matted the piece on a bit of black then over some Naturals White
that was dry embossed.
The picture doesn't show the embossing very well.
Another masculine card to add to my stash.
I have quite a few birthdays for the guys coming up.
This also works for CAS Watercolour
Enjoy!

Loving the happy accident on this gorgeous card, great masculine card for your stash. Where on earth does time go??? x
Beautiful happy accident watercolour wash mist, Bonnie. Love how it looks like the fog we get raising up from the river every morning, especially in the Fall. Gorgeous silhouette scene my friend. TFS and hosting this month my friend. Hugs.
What a perfect card for this time of year - looks like the Canada Geese formations that are starting to migrate! Love the effect (even if accidental) of your watercolour wash and the bloom it created - perfect for the images!
Beautifully done! The bloom reminds me of the distant land while looking across a small, inland lake. What a fabulous effect, intentional or not! Awesome card!
Fantastic wash background Bonnie, it does look like mist rising or a distant shore, love the silhouette stamps too, Cathy x
Forgot to say thankyou for having me as a guest designer, loved this technique and had so much fun. Just wish there were more hours in the day lol! Cathy x
This is beautiful Bonnie! Your background turned out so pretty...perfect to go with the stamp you used!! Love the subtle embossing too! This will be a perfect masculine card!! :0)
Such a serene card and perfect for this time of year. Beautiful watercolor wash. And works for both genders -- a winner!
Beautiful background and scene, Bonnie, so tranquil!
Love the balance between the flowers on the lower left and the birds in the upper right. This scene actually looks like a photo of an early morning mist on a lake or river!
OH! this is lovely, a perfect scene and background.

I am always enamored of the 'happenings' when you watercolor, or smoosh for that matter. The results have such an artistic background scene look without even trying. This one with your mist on the lake is a perfect example and it's a lovely , serene scene, Bonnie. Well, as long as the geese aren't honking. ;)
what a beautiful watercolor wash sky for your lovely silhouette stampings Bonnie!
how gorgeous Bonnie...so sad to see summer going!!
xx Karen
I love this masculine card, Boonie! It's a beautiful lake scene. I want to CASE your card but I definitely need your happy happening! ;-) Hideko
OH Bonnie this card is just fabulous, the watercolour wash so suits the silhouettes you've chose, yes a fab male card.
Another lovely card Bonnie! The birds remind me of the geese that fly in and out here, especially in the winter.
Your watercolour wash is PERFECT! Love how it rises from the beautiful image. And also the light colour in the sky with your flock of birds. Great wash background with fantastic silhouette images, my friend! xx
