Fall Leaves for CAS Watercolour Again

Hello Friends.
Did you ever have one of those days when you wish you'd left well enough alone?
Today is one of those days for me.
Some of you saw a similar post earlier.
When I got on the computer this morning, I saw comments for my
CAS Watercolour Post.
I had scheduled it for AM instead of PM!

So I tried to fix it.
I should have just left it because I lost it and now I'm rewriting the post.
If you're confused, just know that I am more so!

It's a special month at CAS Watercolour
Wow this year has gone fast!

And we have Prizes

$25 Gift Certificate to Simon Says Stamp for Challenge Winner
$25 Gift Certificate to Simon Says Stamp for one random draw of all entries
(must follow rules to be eligible for prizes)

Here's my card.

I used Loll's Tissue Paper Tutorial to watercolor, scrunch, glue and
heat emboss with gold powder.

Here's a photo that shows more of the shine.

Now it's your turn.

I hope you'll watercolour some Fall Leaves and join us at

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Congratulations...where did that year go? The leaf on your stunning card is fabulous. Love the extra gold around the edges. The dry embossed background adds beautiful texture and all finished off with the perfect sentiment x

Bonnie, your card is both GORGEOUS and very elegant with all the gold!!! The gold on the leaf really makes it stand out from the crowd and it matches beautifully with the gold sentiment, and the gold edges around the sentiment panel makes everything fit together perfectly for one fabulous card!!!!

The gold adds such an elegant touch to both leaf and sentiment, Bonnie. I have a sentiment stamp similar to that from a different company.

I just went back and saw the beginning of the post, Bonnie. I had orginally read it in my email. I hate to add to the confusion but the link doesn't work from my email to your blog. I had to hit 'home'.

I'm so glad this post is showing up properly. I will be able to leave the bunker. Because you can not go indifferently next to this card. Your tissue and gold technique is perfect. This leaf looks stunning, Bonnie! I love colors and golden veins. A real autumn leaf, full of gold. Thank you for the great inspiration, Bonnie!

Gorgeous tissue paper heat embossed leaf, Bonnie. Thank you for the 2nd photo showing the gold shine from your heat embossing. What a bummer that you had to repost your card, but sure glad you did. What a beauty. I Love your sentiment and dry embossed background too. Happy 1st Birthday hosting with Loll your awesome CAS Watercolour Challenge. I have loved being a part of the DT:-) Hugs...

I know what you're talking about scheduling something wrong and then having it become impossible to undo all that. I'm sure there's a way but no way would I know what it is.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your card. The leaf is stunning and looks so real. Gorgeous!

Congratulations to you and Loll for creating such a fun and stimulating challenge, and happy 1st birthday!
I love the tissue paper leaf. The gold heat-embossing is really beautiful and effective. The dry embossed panel echoes the main leaf. Hideko

What a fabulous leaf. I've yet to make anything worthwhile with that technique but now I'm inspired to try again. I also adore that leafy embossing.
