Today is the last day of our CAS Mix Up October Challenge
and I had one more card I'd done using layered stencils.
It's not as CAS (Clean And Simple) as my cards usually are.
Julia is hosting this month and she chose.....
I have layered a layered stencil leaf over a stenciled background. So I have stamping, layered stenciling, regular stenciling, watercolor and die cuts.
Lots of inspiration over there.
The leaf was cut from a piece of not so good watercolor that had been set aside for die cutting.
After cutting it out, I stenciled with 3 different stencils:
Crackle (with Spiced Marmalade), Shimmer (with Rich Razzleberry)
and Falling Snow (with Gathered Twigs).
I've listed the manufacturers below.
Just an example of using the failures for something else.
I thought the green made the leaf look more realistic.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Stamps: Botanical Silhouettes (PTI)
