Bejeweled for Autumn

Hello friends.  I hope you've had a fun and creative weekend.

I've done some stamping, sponging and splattering with one of
my favorite Penny Black stamps.

I've used my MISTI to ink and stamp the flowers and leaves and
touched the ink with a damp water brush.

When I was happy with the flower, I removed it from the MISTI and
sponged some Distress Ink over and around, using a darker ink
around the edges.

A little splatter and a stamped sentiment finished the design.

Challenges:
Penny Black Saturday October Challenge: Anything Goes Optional Spooky Colour
Penny Black & More: Autumn Splendour

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

A beautiful flower, wonderfully coloured - and great sponging and splattering around it. It's perfect with the ivory frame around it - softer, more natural look than using stark white.

You do such a wonderful job with that stamp, so much so I'm tempted to get it except that I've shopped WAY too much lately. Love the gorgeous blending of the colors as well as your fantastic background. This is gorgeous, Bonnie and you make it sound so easy too.

This card has such a beautiful antique allure that I'd frame. Those colours add so much interest to this stamp and that background sponging give a lot of light. A special card made by a special person, a true BEAUTY! xx
