Cones and Berries Thank You

Hello friends.  Today we are launching a new challenge at
CAS Watercolour

We'll be cutting all our CAS Challenges short this month.  More on that later.

I've used my MISTI to ink this stamp with markers, stamping and
using a damp water brush to move the ink.

When it was all dry, I smooshed some Distress Ink on my palette
and using a wet on wet technique, did a light wash around the design.

I wish I could remember to do the red after the wash!

Adding a little pink to the wash makes the bleed fade into the background better.

I'm hosting the challenge this month.

This month's challenge will only run for two weeks.  The challenge closes on December 15th midnight (PST).

Our Design team is joined by the fantastic Michele (I Card Everyone),
and have some lovely designs to inspire you!

I hope you'll join us at CAS Watercolour in the next two weeks.
You know you're going to need some thank you cards!

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Your watercoloured cards are always STUNNING, my friend. This one is no exception! I love this image and so beautiful with the soft blue (and subtle pink) background. Great way to save your image. Can't tell that you had any trouble with the red bleeding! xx

Absolutely fabulous use of that stamp, Bonnie - beautifully watercoloured, great background wash, and perfectly fitted sentiment! Good idea to do the red berries after doing the background wash - I never think to do that!

You really mastered that technique, Bonnie! And once again you succeeded in a gorgeous soft wash for this image. Outstanding coloring on this one too.

I love this Cones and Berries stamp Bonnie and you've water colored it just perfectly...especially loving the light blue wash around the image! One of these days I'm going to have to give that a try...I'm always afraid I'm going to mess up after I've spent all that time on the main image! But anyway, lovely, lovely thank you card my friend!! :0)

The card in the picture looks gorgeous, Bonnie! But I know the actual colors and the subtleties are superb!! I'm so lucky to own this card, my friend. I enjoy looking at it every day. Thank you!

Great winter scene, the bleeding works for me since the background has the purplish tint.
A superb Christmas card full of reality, I should know living in the snow LOL 😂
LOVE it xx

wonderful card Bonnie...great challenge too!
I am so sorry I am so late at responding...with all these extra daycare kids, a best friend in crisis and all the Christmas festivities, I feel like I dropped the ball on other parts of my life.
Happy New Year mf
