Bluebirds Love

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Another card showing flight with watercoloring.

I've punched the birds with an old and well loved punch and added color to them
with ink swiped on a palette and picked up with a waterbrush.

To make the birds seem to be flying, I punched extra wings and placed them in a
fluttering angle.

A bit of watercolor made a soft sky and a frame made with
two stitched rectangle dies finishes it off.

Super cute little birds, love the addition of the wings and what pretty water colouring. Great texture from the 'subtle' embossing folder and the framing looks fabulous. Such an adorable card Bonnie x.
I have been 'addicted' to ebay to try and get this 'subtle' embossing folder Bonnie, as it looks wonderful but no joy ....as yet! x.

I still love this punch, too. I think you did a fab job coloring them, and adding the extra wings for flight movement was a good idea. xo

These bluebirds are so cute, Bonnie! Your watercoloring is so good that I didn't recognize the bird punch at first, but I think I still have it. With your beautiful watercoloring and the extra wings, the punched flat birds tuned into 3D! Thank you for your inspiration!
