Purple Love

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I've been practicing on watercoloring and what better to practice on than
the Altenew Watercolor Coloring Book.  I used a gray print for a no-line look
and colored with the Altenew 36 pan set of watercolors.

After it was all colored, I die cut a heart and placed it on foam for dimension.
Stamped the word and added a few gems for sparkle.

It's a special card for a special friend who recently lost her sister.
Not my usual sympathy card, but I felt it was suitable for this situation.
Glad to say, she loved it.

Challenges:
Altenew- Inspired by Nature
The Flower Challenge - Add a Heart

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Weather Together (ret. SU)
Ink:   Gorgeous Grape
Paper:   Watercolor (Strathmore)
Other:  Watercolor Coloring Book (Alt), Watercolor 36 pan set (Alt) (Lavender Fields, Midnight Violet, Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Citrus Burst, Fresh Lemon, Paper Bag, Caribbean Blue), Sweet & Sassy Framelits die (SU)

Enjoy!

WOW !! Stunning watercolor. It is such a difficult technique to keep in shape unless we have a clear line. You did a really great job, Bonnie. I love the purple colors, all the decorations and the perfect sentiment. Your friend definitely appreciates it.
