Christmas Holly and Snowmen

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I inked these stamps with markers and stamped, using a waterbrush to blend the ink then
adding highlights with watercolor pencils.

The branches in the background were done by inking the stamps and spritzing with
water.  I didn't use a block and just laid the stamp down on the paper.

I finished the design off with some chunky Frantage and heated from the back.

This snowman die has been in my NBUS box for a long time.  I die cut from some
Neenah Solar White and colored the little guys with Copics.

Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge - ATG Christmas (inspired by mood board)

Your gorgeous bit of Winter nature truly sings on this first card, Bonnie - OH, would I love to sit with you when you're coloring those stamps with markers!
Darling little Snowmen, too! They don't look one bit upset that they had to wait to play with you!

Wonderful texture and layering in the first card - it turned out perfectly! Love the watercolour. And it's perfectly suited to a slimline. The second card is adorable with those little snowmen peeking out of the squares.
