Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
Another Christmas card for the stash.
A sweet friend sent me this die a year or two ago. I had cut it out from some
Neenah Solar White and wasn't sure where to go from there. So I put it back in the
NBUS box. I found it the other day and was determined to get it on a card.
I tried it with various alcohol inked backgrounds and decided on this one.
Fortunately, I thought to cut the piece behind the ornament from the middle so I
could use the rest as a narrow frame. I had a little piece of leftover embossing sitting
on the table that fit behind the outcut.
I used some tiny snippets of gold foil to die cut the merry and a bow from
another set and stamped and heat embossed the wishes.
I found these little pine sprigs already cut and tucked them behind the bow.
Glad to have given this die a spin and have another Christmas card too.

Looks just like those gorgeous glass ornaments we weren't allowed to touch! So beautiful, Bonnie - you had just the right bits and pieces to take it to the top!

So pretty and I know it must really shine a lot too! Love the way you added the bow and the alcohol inks are sensational looking for the ornament.

Super eye catching card with your lovely background. Clever to reserve the outside for a frame and isn't it great to use those snippets lying around. xx
What a great way to pull all those bits and bobs together for a fantastic card. The AI is stunning and the bow in gold is lovely.
To look you'd never think this was a use up some stuff card. Beautifully done.
The AI colours are gorgeous - love the royal blue with the gold. Fabulous layering with the border of AI and the little pine sprigs behind the bow.
OMG..Gorgeous Christmas card made with all your beautiful snippets, Bonnie. I LOVE your blues Alcohol ink die cut ornament and your pretty added embellishments and framing. A Real Beauty, my friend. TFS Love and Hugs...
Your blue alcohol ink on that ornament is incredible! That ornament could even stand alone without embellishment just because of that rich color! This is just beautiful, Bonnie! Love this and makes me want to bring out alcohol ink again.
Gosh, it's pretty! I'm sure any of your AI backgrounds would look good with it, but the blue is a perfectly chilly color to go with your snowy branches. Love that little bit of matching background peeking around the edges. Beautiful, Bonnie!
Look at you using up all of those bits and bobs to create something so elegant! Wonderful card, Bonnie!
Beautiful use for your snippet of AIs -- they're always so gorgeous!
Gorgeous card Bonnie! I LOVE the AI panel you used for the ornament. It's such a beautiful mix of shades of blue. Very striking. And it's so wonderful that you were able to add a frame of it as well. Beautiful design with the pine sprigs and bow at the top. xx
